MPFL Reconstruction using Endobutton and Biosure Peek Screw - Operation

In this video Professor Munjed Al Muderis performs a Medial Patello-Femoral Ligament (MPFL) reconstruction.

A 2.4mm passing pin is used as a guide to pass through the patella and then the femur. The patella and femur are then drilled with a 3.5mm drill. A nylon suture is used to pass Endobutton tape through the patella and femur. An Endobutton secures the Endobutton tape laterally on the patella. A Biosure PK screw secures the endobutton tape laterally on the femur.
